An architectural preview of CPAL’s new location — a space designed for where ideas take place.

In the spring of 2025, CPAL secured an 11-year lease on a 10,000 sq. ft. space located at 50 West Street in Lower Manhattan’s Financial District, establishing the Center’s first home. The building is conceived as a national hub for engaging experts involved in all aspects of artist legacy stewardship, creating an interdisciplinary community of practice. The space will enable CPAL to implement intake protocols for education, research, recovery, preservation, and placement of the first artist case studies, while offering comprehensive resources and advisory services to those working to preserve visual artists’ legacies.
