Zak Vreeland is an independent archivist, curator and bookseller. He has been at J.N. Herlin since 2009 where he has worked on over 50 appraisals of artists’ archives and collections. He was previously librarian at Salander-O’Reilly Galleries and archivist at the Renee and Chaim Gross Foundation.  He has curated exhibitions on artists such as Raphael Soyer, as well as contemporary artists. Currently, the show he co-curated, Seeing and Recognition: the Paintings of Lee Sherry, is at Field of Play Gallery in Brooklyn.
