Anton Sherin is the Associate Archivist at the Library and Archives of the Guggenheim Museum New York (2021-present) and serves as the Director of Programming for the Archivists Roundtable of New York (A.R.T.) (2025-present). His role at the Guggenheim includes oversight of finding aid description, reference and research queries, digital workflows, records management policy and best practices, cataloguing in the OPAC and more.
As Director of Programming, Sherin leads a team of 8 volunteers who schedule tours, panel talks, webinars, social gatherings and professional development activities for members of A.R.T. and the general public. Previous to his role in Programming, Sherin served as Secretary on the A.R.T. board (2024-2025), where he managed ingest and description of the archives and supported monthly board activities.
