CPAL’s inaugural benefit will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, 6 - 10pm. We will be celebrating with the visual arts community and the launch of our new home: 50 West Street, New York, NY 11006
Since our founding, CPAL has stewarded thousands of artists and their loved ones through legacy-preservation work. Our annual conferences, legal clinics, and artist roundtables have helped surface the challenges that accompany preserving an artist’s life’s work.
In the spring of 2025, we secured a 10,000 sq. ft. raw space located at 50 West Street in the Financial District in Manhattan, establishing CPAL’s new home. This will be the first national center to focus solely on artistic legacy stewardship and its many facets: from education and recovery, to preservation, and placement of artworks and archives.
