Susan and Michael Hort are New York–based contemporary art collectors and longtime supporters of emerging and underrecognized artists. Known for their commitment to social and political engagement with contemporary art, they have built a collection recognized for supporting experimental practices and artists who are early in their careers. Through their ongoing collaborations with galleries, nonprofits, and cultural institutions, they continue to support critical dialogue around contemporary art and culture. They founded The Rema Hort Mann Foundation in memory of their daughter, supporting both emerging artists and cancer patients through grants and community programs. They are currently establishing the Hort Family Museum at Art Omi Pavilions.
