Ylinka Barotto is a curator and art professional with over 15 years of experience in the field of contemporary art. She has organized and developed critically-acclaimed exhibitions, commissions, and public programming that foster interdisciplinary conversations and community engagement through the arts. Her curatorial practice focuses on the intricacies of history, politics, race, and identity, and champions the practice of underrecognized artists.

Barotto has worked as a curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Moody Center for the Arts, Rice University, where she executed major exhibitions and expanded and diversified the permanent collections through strategic acquisitions and gifts. She has also managed teams, budgets, and partnerships with leading scholars and institutions. Independently, she curated exhibitions for the Mary Ann Unger Estate, Magazzino Italian Art Foundation, and the Italian Cultural Institute.

As the Director and Museum Relations at Perrotin, she is responsible for advancing gallery's artists' engagement with museums and institutions worldwide.
